The good thing about storybook land this year is it was the first time daddy has ever been able to go with us. The bad news is we were suppose to go there on a field trip with the kindergarten class and had to cancel it due to snow. The boys asked if the Santa there this year was the real Santa or a helper Santa and I said they would have to ask him. When they did he said he was a "helper Santa" and the boys thought that was just fine. They told him that they wanted bunk beds and a mario game!
We signed the boys up for the YMCA basketball clinic again this year. I can't say they learned a whole lot this year but they had fun and I enjoyed getting to see the Heims and the Berrys :)
The boys always have a blast at the Wah Chang kids party and this year they were able to bring along with them their cousins Javon and Olivia. James wasn't able to go with us this year but lucky for me Tammi, Tyler and Brayden Currey were there to help run herd with me.
I finally got James to haul out the big tree. The boys watched Christmas movies all day, I made almond roca and the last tree is up. Christmas is in full swing at the Dodge house!
The boys and I made cinnamon hearts for the first time and oh baby did house smell delicious while they were baking!
The boys are lucky to have such a fun daddy during spirit week at school. He made them special hard hats with their names on them for "dress like dad day" and he colored their hair purple & red for "crazy hair day". They also had pajama day, hat day and beaver/duck day.
