March of Dimes Walk 2012

This is the second year that we have done the March of Dimes walk in Corvallis in memory of my nephew Connor. It was a beautiful day for a 10k walk and some much needed time with friends.

Swimming Lessons: Round 2

The boys have now completed their second month of swimming lessons and they still love them! Though they didn't pass the first level yet (I'm told this usually takes 3-4 months of lessons)they are doing really well and are close. The last day of lessons the kids get to learn about life jacket safety and play in a canoe in the pool. We weren't able to make it to this last month so this was their first time getting to do this fun stuff.

Super Heros??

All it takes is underwear
and a cape apparently to be a super hero. Oh yes and a Mexican wrestling mask :)

Quick Pics In The Turnip Seed

It's that time of year for all the yellow turnip flowers to bloom so we stop on the side of the road (very briefly) to check them out :)

Brownsville Easter Egg Hunt

We decided to try out the Brownsville Easter egg hunt this year. I had fun because it was sunny out and I saw lots of people that I new. The boys however were a bit disappointed. There really weren't that many eggs set out for the 0-3 year olds so Mason only got four eggs and Brock only got two eggs. They also were really bummed to see that there was no candy in their eggs only stickers. Luckily Nana had brought over more chocolate bunnies for them. This cheered Mason up in a jiffy!

Raymond Easter 2012

We did Easter a week early this year due to work schedules. When the boys went to preschool and told everyone that the Easter bunny came to their Nana's house it created mass hysteria in the classroom! Children were freaking out thinking they missed the Easter bunny...oops...note to self for what not to do next year :)We got to spend time with my grandparents and the boys got to hunt Easter eggs left by the "Easter bunny".

AC Gilbert's Discovery Village 2012

The boys had so much fun at AC Gilbert's Discovery Village last year that we thought it was time to make another trip. This year we went with Carmen, Alex & Max Forrester and Andrea Smith and her boys. There was a lot of energy running around that place with six boys but they had a blast. We even got to have a picnic lunch with no rain! Well also feel like we accomplished a miracle by making it out of the bubble room without anyone getting soaking wet :)

Salem Riverfront Carousel 2012

After another fun day at AC Gilbert's Discovery Village we decided to top the day off with a few spins around the Salem Riverfront Carousel. The boys always love it!

Brock Can See!

The boys got their vision and hearing checked at school and we were told that they didn't think Brock could see very well. A trip to the eye doctor confirmed what the school thought...Brock is VERY significantly far sighted! After about a week and a half wait Brock finally has his new glasses and he loves them!
