Hot Air Balloons-Night Glow 2012

The boys loved all the hot air balloons at the Art & Air festival in Albany. This was the first year that we've been in town for it so we decided to check out the night glow. The boys have been watching them flying in the air the last few mornings on the way to work so they were very excited to see them up close.

Sunriver 2012

We had a great weekend in Sunriver with my parents and brother Josh. It would have been perfect if Brock hadn't been sick but we still crammed in a ton of fun. The boys got to ride the train, bounce in the bounce castles and eat ice-cream cones in the village. We got them new soccer shoes in Bend so we got in a little soccer practice and of course we spent plenty of time on the playgrounds. The new water park was awesome, we all really
enjoyed the lazy river at the SHARC.

Foster Lake

We decided to beat the heat today by heading up to Foster Lake with my parents. It was a perfect day to be on the water and both boys(reluctantly)even
rode in the tube.

Dunefest 2012

James races every year at Dunefest but this is the first time in 7 years that we've camped there. We made a track in camp around the campfire for the kids to ride around. So while the big boys were racing the little boys were riding in circles to their hearts content. James had seven motors racing there this weekend so he stayed really busy keeping them all running.

Riverbend 2012

We got the whole Dodge family together for a camp out at Riverbend this weekend. There was lots of bike riding,
smores and play time at the park.

Look No Training Wheels

Mason saw some other little kids riding around the campground without training wheels and decided that he could do it too! He asked daddy to take the training wheels off and just took off. He hasn't slowed down since. He can even ride through gravel and grass!

Clear Lake 2012

We were so excited to make it back up to Clear Lake. It's our favorite place to go and we were unable to go last year because of the forest fire. We went with the Hubbard's, Hamilton's and my parents. The guys spent lots of time fishing and us girls spent a lot of time hiking. All of the kids were able to catch a fish which was exciting. Jen and I did a 8 1/2 mile hike around Clear Lake and further the first day. The second day we tried a new 4 1/2 mile hike our of Trail bridge that went up to the "Blue Pool". It was a gorgeous hike along the Mckenzie River. We had great weather and even got to see a "wagon train" which camped next to us. There was a 4-H group with 84 horses and people including three covered wagons. The boys thought we had a parade come right through our campground.
