Grandpa's Pumpkin Patch 2012

Well our plan was to try out a trick-or-treating train located outside of Scio but after driving all the way out there because the website said they were open we found out that they lied! They weren't going to open until the following weekend :( So after a change of plans we ended up back at Grandpa's pumpkin patch followed by a little Limeberry frozen yogurt for dinner.

Fire Trucks!

It never fails every year we completely forget to put the fire stations open house on the calendar and we forget about them until we accidentally drive by :( and this year was no different. We were actually headed into town early before the boys soccer game so that they could build fire trucks with daddy (I know how fitting huh?) for the home depot project of the week we noticed all the commotion at the fire station. After the boys finished

their soccer game we were able to stop by one of the stations to see how the ladder truck works, tour the hazmat truck and the boys even got to sit in the drivers see of one of the fire trucks. They were very excited to show off the fire trucks that they made at home depot earlier that day. Had we know earlier we could have gone to other stations also where they were actually giving rides in the fire trucks.

Cookies & Pizza!

James was "suppose" to be out of town fishing so we planned a night of fun with the Forrester family. Carmen and the boys came over to play until they were all thoroughly worn out.

The kiddos also each made mini pizzas and decorated giant pumpkin shaped sugar cookies. (See just trying to cram in more fall fun :)

Lone Pine Farms 2012

Yes it's 80 degrees outside, we're wearing shorts and we're at the pumpkin patch! I just love fall though and there is so much fun stuff to do and so little time to do it in :) We decided to make a trip down to Lone Pine Farms with Nana, Auntie Rae and cousins Kiley & Corbin. We didn't play out in the pumpkin patch but the kids did wear themselves out in the hay maze, on the playground, feeding the goats & chickens, climbing in the cow train and of course eating cookies.

Soccer 2012

This is the first year that the boys have played a sport and they are playing AYSO soccer in the U6 division (under 6 years old). They are by far the youngest on the team. The other kids are all 5 1/2-6 years old. It's pretty cute because the boys have absolutely no clue whats going on but they are loving every minute. Their godfather "Uncle Doug" is the coach and their favorite part is snack time. At this age their are no referees or goalies and they only have a 20 minute practice right before each game. The boys were super excited to get their first pair of soccer cleats too.

Warrior Dash 2012

Well I not only survived the warrior dash but it was actually really easy and a TON of fun! I ran it with a bunch of coworkers and caught up with my brother and cousin at the finish line for some photo ops. We didn't worry about time, we just didn't want to get hurt :) I was most worried about scaling the wall and most excited about the mud pit &

fire jumping. It was definitely something I'd do again.

4yr Old Pre-K

Even though the boys go to school year round they were still excited for their first offical day of 4 year old "Pre-K" preschool. When I asked them what they wanted to be when they grew up they said "airplane drivers". I said "oh you want to be pilots" and they got really mad and said no mom "airplane drivers".
