Eugene Half Marathon 2011

Sunday May 1st I ran the Eugene half marathon for the first time. I've done a couple others in the past but this is the first one that I actually trained for and ran the whole thing. I was really nervous because I had been having problems with my ankle and I was worried that the march of Dimes 10K the day before would make it flare back up. In the end I was worried about the wrong thing because my ankle did great but my left knee does not feel so good. I did better than I could have ever imagined. I did the 13.1 miles in 1 hour 54 minutes and ran 8.3 minute miles! This is my best time yet which might account for why I'm so sore.

March of Dimes 2011

This was the first year that we did the March of Dimes 10K walk in Corvallis. We did it in memory of my nephew Connor. We finished just in time before the skies opened up and it started raining again.

Easter Day 2011

We spent Easter day with the Raymond side of the family. The boys got to hunt eggs yet again and have really had their fill of candy and ham for the weekend. They got to see both great-grandmas and papa even bought them a new fishing pole for this summer.

The Land of 16,000 Eggs

My mom and I decided to take the boys to their first big Easter egg hunt. On Saturday we went to First Assembly's egg hunt. They had 16,000 eggs divided by age group. It was sunny, warm and the boys had a blast. They even got a quick visit to the playground.

Easter With The Dodges 2011

The boys could not have had more fun at the Dodge's for Easter. We did our dinner on Friday so we had fabulous weather and they got to spend all evening playing outside. They rode the quads, played on the playground, play tether ball, bubbles and of course hunted for Easter eggs. Aunt Tia actually got some good pictures of the kids too.

Why it might not suck to have a cousin

Chapter 5: Why it might not always suck to have cousins....
Because really is there any better way to pick up hot chicks than to cruise the yard with a cute baby in the passenger seat? Watch out triplets....

Coloring Easter Eggs

This was the first time that we attempted to color eggs and it went remarkably well. Arien, Rae, Kiley and Corbin came over to color eggs with us. We had ten cups of dye and not one got knocked over! The only problem was the kids wanted to eat them all and we had to stop them after two each.
