Miranda's Pics

We took the boys down to Monteith Park in Albany so that their Aunt Miranda could take a few pictures of them. They had fun chasing geese and playing in the mud puddles.

Spring Has Sprung!

Finally some sunshine after a record breaking wet winter! The boys were so excited to actually get to go outside to play. They spent the entire weekend outside. Brock even got a sunburn on the back of his neck...oops. They love having daddy haul their bikes up to the top of the driveway so that they can ride them down. They are also learning to ride their big bikes and yes James duck taped their feet to the peddles :) This year they are pros at driving the gator so James decided to throw them off by putting it into reverse. We found that this is one way to tick off Brock very quickly.

Monster Trucks

James took the boys to see the monster trucks for the first time with his mom and dad and their cousin Javon. Personally I think he just wanted to check out the Ducks new basketball arena. Maybe that is why I subconsciously dressed the boys in their Beaver gear and didn't even realize it until the next day :) The boys had lots of fun but i think their favorite part was getting to wear the ear muffs. They started practicing with them earlier in the day and even wore them all the way home. Grandma and Grandpa Dodge know how to keep the boys happy...food. They ate lots of pop corn and had flags to wave too. They were all tuckered out by the time they got home.

AC Gilbert's Discovery Village

Nana had the day off so we high tailed it up to Salem and took the boys to the Gilbert house for the first time. The boys were the perfect age for this and they loved all of the activities. Despite the drizzly gray weather I think their favorite part was all the outdoor play structures.

Salem Riverfont Carousel

I've been wanting to take the boys up to the carousel in Salem forever now so it worked out perfect to stop by on our way home from the Gilbert house. The boys loved the horses and they didn't seem to get dizzy like mommy and nana did.

Aunt Lorraine

The boys got to see their great-great-aunt Lorraine today. She is my grandmother's younger sister and she lives in Portland. While I was in the hospital at Legacy Emanuel Lorraine came to visit me every Thursday and spent the entire day there. This is the first time that she has seen the boys since they were one day old in the hospital. She came down for my grandma's birthday and she brought the boys some really cool bouncy balls that light up.

Snow Day

The boys got to see the snow last year so they know what it is but this is the first time that they actually got to play in it. We didn't get to stay outside long as it was really cold but the boys were just excited to get outside at all. I was hoping that they could build their first snowman but the snow was too dry so we settled for just throwing it in the air. Their favorite thing was playing in the banana plant. All the dead leaves held lots of snow so they could "hide" in the stocks. They kept telling me it was their "house".
